Good Morning Sir,
I was forwarded an e-mail from Danny Gerald and Gary McConnel. The e-mail was from you stating that a meeting was
held in the NCDENR office on January 11, 2010. This meeting was reference to our notice of violation. We also clarified
that we are not shutting down. We are not connecting to the South Harnett County system.
I want to clarify so that we are all on the same page. The Town of Spring Lake is going to make necessary repairs to our
plant and we are further looking to expand it as well.
Please check with Belinda about the meeting. My response to them will be intheir hands this week.
I am sorry for any confusion. To simply state we are not closing!

Thank you for meeting with Belinda Henson, Paul Rawls, Mark Brantley, and me at our Surface Water
Protection Office here in Fayetteville. As you requested in the meeting, a time extension date to a new date of
February 18, 2010 is approved for the written Plan -Of -Action. Previously, and according to the December 11, 2009
Compliance Biomonitoring Inspection report, the written Plan -Of -Action was due by January 18, 2010.
We look forward to anticipated improvements at the POTW. Please feel free to phone me with any questions
concerning the inspection report.
