High TSS Town of Spring Lake
The Town called in today (Henry) to discuss a high TSS (66 mg/I) value for Tuesday January 26, 2010.
We discussed it and apparently this was caused by I/1.
I asked Henry if he wanted to say it was caused by I/1 and he would not commit to that cause.
Someone else may have heard them admit to I/1 being a problem but I have never heard them admit to it.
If we all will remember the last upgrade to the WWTP included a new clarifier that was going to prevent washout.
If they are ever going to go regional they must get a handle on the I/1.
To prevent a violation of the WEEKLY TSS average limit Henry will pull extra samples.
A copy of this email was placed in the Spring Lake inspections file.
