The property has a current JD letter issued by the USACE under
SAW-2006-00699, dated July 22, 2019 (valid until July 20, 2024).
Thomas & Hutton, the project engineer, has designed a proposed
residential development for the referenced property located in
Leland, North Carolina. The project engineer has designed the
development to avoid adverse impacts to wetland ecosystems to the
extent practicable while meeting state and county requirements. The
proposed development has one minor wetland impact associated with
road crossing that totals 0.095-acre. We will be applying for a
Nationwide Permit #18 through the Wilmington district Office of the US
Army Corps of Engineers.
