Project Description 3a Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application: Our cove has a build up of silt from leaves and foilage that follow the current into our cove where it sinks and decays The entire cove is surrounded by trees. The water level is now 2 to 3 feet less in the area of our floaters due to this build up. 3b. Explain the purpose of the proposed project: The project is to remove a build up of silt from the bottom of our cove where our boat docks are located. 3e Describe the overall project in detail, including the type of equipment to be used. Scrape and remove mucky build up of decomposed plant life (leaves) from the bottom going down to the original surface. A small bull dozer would be used to scrape and load material into a truck for removal from the site. This will be done after the lake is drawn down this fall. 4. After reviewing your application, we have decided that this activity is covered by General Water Quality Certification Number 3280, which can be downloaded from our web site at i http:/ rh2o .enr.state.ne.us /ncwetlands. This Certification allows the use Regional Permit Number 198200030 when the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) issues it. In addition, you should get any other federal, state or local permits before you go ahead with your project including (but not limited to) Sediment and Erosion Control, Coastal Stormwater, Non - Discharge, State Stormwater and Water Supply Watershed regulations. Also this approval will expire when the accompanying 404 permit expires unless otherwise specified in the General Certification. This approval is only valid for the purpose and design that you described in your application. If you change, your project, you must notify us in writing, and you may be required to send us a new application for a new certitication. If the property is sold, the new owner must be given a copy of the Certification and approval letter and is thereby responsible for Complying with all conditions. If total wetland fills for this project (now or in the future) exceed one acre, compensatory Mitigation maybe required as described in 15A NCA^ 2H.0506 (h). For this approval to be valid, you must follow, the conditions listed in the attached certification and any additional conditions listed below. 1.
