Many required items listed in the Level Spreader- Vegetated Filter Supplement Form
were omitted. In your resubmittal, please include ALL of the required items (with all
listed elements and at the specified scales). Failure to do so will result in a return of
application. In particular, please be sure to include one foot topo lines between the level
lip and top of stream bank.
2. The level spreader should not be located upslope of the future Apex Peakway R/W.
Instead, it should be located upslope of a stream or other water. Because the riparian
buffer appears to be steep, it may be necessary to provide a 30 -foot wide engineered filter
strip (please see Chapter 8 of the BMP Manual for design requirements).
3. Please provide the supporting calculations for the flows from the wet detention pond.
The level spreader must be correctly sized for the flows that it will receive. It may be
designed for the maximum drawdown flow from the wet detention pond if the outlet
device bypasses larger storm flows to another location.
4. Please provide a full -size plan sheet showing the entire site with its storm drainage
system, including every inlet, outlet and conveyance device. Please show how diffuse
flow requirements have been met at every proposed outlet location.
5. Please provide documentation of the Town of Apex's approval of the stormwater
management plan for this project by providing EITHER:
• A valid approval letter from the Town of Apex indicating that the proposed activity
has an approved SMP and one copy of the approved SMP, including full -sized plan
details, calculations and other supporting information, OR
• A set of stormwater plan details and calculations stamped as "Approved" by the
Town of Apex.
