Bridge Replacement
Project/TIP No.:
NCDOT Contact:
Project No.:17BP.7.R.9
Contractor / Designer:
Replacement of Bridge #400187 over Reedy Fork Creek Tributary on SR 2717 (Tickle Road) in Guilford County. The bridge will be replaced with one 20' x 7' bottomless
conspan arch culvert. The lateral ditches are being improved since the current ditches are eroded and do not accomodate the existing runoff. The improved lateral ditches will
have 3:1 front slopes and 2:1 back slopes. The bridge replacement is a low impact bridge replacement and there is minimual increase in imprevious (approximately 120 SF)
which will not impact the dimensions of the ditch.
