Please find attached a fast -track application package for the Majestic Oaks Regional Lift Station
project. This application is for the lift station and force main to take the flow from the existing Majestic
Oaks Treatment plant and send it to the Pluris Hampstead system.
This package includes the application fees and two copies of:
• Two copies of application form FTA 04-16 for Pluris Hampstead, LLC
• Two USGS maps showing the site.
• Two sets of the utility master plan.
• Two copies of the FTSE for the project.
• The application fee of $480.
• Two copies of the flow reduction.
Please let the following serve as a brief narrative for the project:
Old North State Water Company (ONSWC) is in the process of selling their system to Pluris
Hampstead, LLC. The ONSWC plant has had many compliance issues and in the interest of further
reducing the adverse environmental impacts from this failing plant the ONSWC has decided to apply for
this permit and take the treatment plant out of service.
This permit requests a flow of 60,000 gpd. Please note that the treatment plant currently sees
about 30,000 gpd. The lift station is designed for 160,000 gpd which exceeds the anticipated flow for
the area tributary to the proposed lift station. This design is predicated on the attached flow reduction
which allows for 70 gpd per bedroom or 210 gpd/ 3-bedroom single family home.

the volume of wastewater to be permitted in this project has been evaluated along the route to the receiving
wastewater treatment facility and that the flow from this project is not anticipated to cause any capacity
related sanitary sewer overflows or overburden any downstream pump station en route to the receiving
treatment plant under normal circumstances, given the implementation of the planned improvements
identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis has been performed in accordance
with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. This certification applies to
those items listed above in Sections I and II plus all attached planning assessment addendums for which I
