Our clearing contractor for this fob is mobilizing equipment and is scheduled to begin
clearing the first of next week at this site We have installed the safety fence and reviewed
areas to be cleared on site At Site 23 (buckhorn creek) a new bridge structure is being
constructed and will obviously need the typical clear zones around the new bridge For
clarification and correctness we have changed the permit drawing to show the necessary Hand
Clearing to be done around the bridge structure This are totals 0 14 acres, which includes
the clear zones around the bridge and the area beneath the new bridge structure The
previously provided permit drawings did not include the symbol illustrating these Hand
Cleared areas around the bridge I have also included a copy of the previously provided
drawings for your comparison
NCDOT will follow up with a written request to the agencies regarding the change in Hand
Clearing around the new bridge structure We are requesting authorization to proceed as
depicted on the provided drawings, with the understanding NCDOT will follow with a formal
permit modification request
The contractor is going to mobilize equipment on Monday 17th and scheduled to begin Tuesday
18th If you have any concerns with this request or questions, please let me know so we can
address them
