Our Central Office staff in Raleigh forwarded your septic pumping receipt and your request for assistance
locating your single-family residence wastewater disposal system’s effluent pipe in December. I attempted to
get in contact via phone [phone]) and left a voicemail; however, I have not heard back and the email
we have on file appears to be invalid ([e-mail]). Please provide current contact information so our
records can be updated.
Regarding locating the effluent pipe for the system, I have provided the only layout for the system we have on
file which indicates a general location. Typically, when plans are approved for these systems, they are sent
back to the owner to retain for the life of the permit. If the creek bank has changed shape over the years due
to flooding, erosion, and sedimentation, you may be unable to visually locate it, or it may have broken off at
some point. A septic firm or a plumber may be able to help locate the lines exiting the sand filter trench
depending on the equipment they have available.
Additionally, there are currently two past due annual fee invoices (attached). Until these are paid, the
certificate of coverage for your wastewater disposal system cannot be renewed and will remain expired. The
