Overall, site conditions appear to look good and no encroachment within the conservation easement areas was observed. In response to poor stem density, areas in and around Plot 4 are proposed to receive supplemental planting efforts during the upcoming dormant season. DWR supports this replanting effort. Lastly, bald cypress was included in the planted stems per acre count and the planted species count with this report. This species was not approved to be used towards performance criteria on the site. Therefore, please continue to include the presence of this species in the individual plots, but do not include towards the performance criteria for planted stems per acre or planted species count. DWR received a bond rider for the performance bond (#K15481055) in the amount of $100,000 issued to EBX from Federal Insurance Company, to cover monitoring and maintenance at the subject site. The term of this bond applies beginning May 11, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021. Future credit releases will be dependent on both the renewal of this performance bond and the annual monitoring reports.
