le plant has received nearly 8 inches of rain the week of Feb. 13 - 19. The influent flow average for the week was 912,797 gpd. The freeboard limit of the upset ponds reached 2 feet but has been brought
lck down since the event. Staff manned the plant 24 hours a day to continuously process batches and to avoid any spills at the plant. We resumed temporary use of the temporary disk filter to allow us to
ove treated water at a higher rate and are using both UV and sodium hypochlorite for disinfection. The plant had a fecal violation of 1410 MPN/ 100ml on February 17th. Subsequent sampling showed the
3s back within the permitted limits by February 18th, The GWPS exceeded the daily flow limit on 4 occasions during the rain event.The Wilmington Regional Office was made aware of the storm event and
cal violation.
