This letter is in response to your correspondence dated July 25, 2012. You have requested additional
information regarding my application for a farm irrigation pond.

Additional Information Requested:
1) In the application you explain that the purpose of the project is for a farm irrigation pond.
Please further explain the purpose of this project. Do you propose to develop the property in w
the future?
We are the third generation owners of this property. We use this property as a weekend
getaway and local hay production. We are planning to use the pond for organic blueberry
irrigation. No development is planned for the future.
2) Please explain how you are avoiding and minimizing impacts to the stream channels.
A representative from the Army Corps of Engineers assisted me in locating the position of the
pond that would only impact an intermittent stream. Typically, there is only water in this stream
after extreme rain or snow.
