It was observed that there are several holes and a broken window in the WWT pump house building. The holes in the siding and window appear to be the result of someone firing a weapon at the building. This facility is required by the Section III Item 9 [15A NCAC 02T .0505(d)] of the permit to be secured. Public access to the irrigation sites and wastewater treatment facilities shall be prohibited. The security of the facility is for limiting the health risk of Wastewater residual application to the spray fields and treatment lagoon. Comment: During the site visit, it was observed that pool chlorine was being used for wastewater disinfection. The MRO will attach a guidance document for the prescribed chlorine tablets recommended for disinfection at this type of facility. The ORC will email the results to the RO upon receipt. During the site visit, the wells appeared to be in good condition. The final GW sampling event of November 2020 is not due to be received by the RO until the end of December 2020. The July 2020 GW-59 indicated that wells MW-1 and MW-2 were dry. Therefore, no data was present. The data for MW-2 did not indicate any 2L violations present in the groundwater sample. End Use -Irrigation Are buffers adequate?
