Improvements to Johnston County's pretreatment and equalization
facility by adding a 8,300 gpm sewage pumping station, a 7,800
linear foot long from force main from the proposed pumping station to
the proposed wastewater treatment plant (not part of this project) and
retrofitting the five (5) million gallon equalization lagoon at the landfill.
There proposed force main will cross a stream at one points and also
temporarily disturb 1,470 square feet of wetlands. Attached are two
figures showing these areas.
