This project is Phase I of the larger Lux Farms Restoration Project. The project involves erosion control, bulk earth movement, berm creation, installation of pump stations, fords, culverts, and planting. The site is also planned for research on the impacts to water quality, both during the construction and over several years after project completion. Construction oversight will be performed throughout the project by NCSU and NRCS staff.
