Additional Information Request
Public Works Commission of the City of Fayetteville
North and East Fayetteville Lift Stations
Cumberland County
The Permits and Engineering Unit has completed a preliminary engineering review of the subject
application. There is still confusion associated with these projects and whether or not an Environmental
Assessment will be required for either pump station. Therefore, the following items must be addressed
before we can complete our review:
1. Please submit a map or drawing showing how all these pump stations (both the North and East
Fayetteville Lift Stations and the smaller pump stations (i.e., East Fayetteville NC 24 Lift
Station) and outfalls are connected.
2. There is currently an Environmental Assessment under review for a lift station for the City of
Fayetteville. Is this the East Fayetteville Lift Station or the East Fayetteville NC 24 Lift
Station? What is the design flow of this pump station?
3. Please verify that no new wastewater flow is being generated with the proposed pump station
upgrades. For these wastewater flows to be classified as existing, all wastewater should
currently be treated in one of the City of Fayetteville's WWTPs.
Refer to the subject permit application number when providing the requested information. Please
submit two (2) copies of all information to my attention at the address below. Also,
please note that failure to provide this additional information on or before June 12, 1995 will subject your
application to being returned as incomplete, in accordance with 15A NCAC 2H .0208.
