Trent, per our conversation today, you requested I send a letter describing our current records situation.
As I mentioned, sometime between March 13 and 14, all of DAK Americas computer systems in North and South America were
attacked and encrypted. We have notified the FBI of this issue.
We are slowly bringing our systems back on line as much as possible. Our priority in returning systems is the safety of our operating
facilities.
We have lost a significant amount of stored process data and do not know how much of these we will be able to recover.
From a permitting perspective, we do not believe that we have had any excess emissions or discharges associated with this event
and will be able to submit all of our required reports. Where we have run into an issue is with recordkeeping requirements. At this
point, we are not sure if this data is retrievable.
We are only the following
NPDES Permit # NC0003719
Continuous flow— Outfall 002
There are no continuous back-up records for these. There are some daily records that we keep along with the continuous
computer records.
Again, we should have the data that we need to complete our reports and we do not believe that there have been any exceedances
during this time.

whatever you need.
