Thank you for the fax. Although they list the WWTP and the Cooling Tower System as
items for which they would like a Tax Certification, we would need much greater
details before we could do a good site evaluation. They would need to provide us
with a detailed itemized list of items they want to be covered. You may want to
ask Jim Barbour to show you the level of detail that he received from Campbell Soup
and Mountaire Farms. One specific question that I would have is how does the
cooling tower operate. Is it a once through systems with no heat recovery or is
the heat captured and used back in the manufacturing process. If it is a heat
recovery system, it may not qualify as being used "exclusively" for pollution
abatement.
I still would recommend that we wait until we received the additional guidance from
the Dept. of Revenue before we get back to.them requesting additional information.
