It is washed with a long handled hard plastic bristle brush using a little
antibacterial soap and warm water.
4. What cleaning agents are used in the cleaning of the composite sample container?
Antibacterial soap and warm bacteria.
5. How often is the composite sampler tubing cleaned and / or replaced?
Twice a month
6. What type of sampling device is used for grab sampling?
Long handled stainless steel bottle holder (bottle fits into holder, ,sample
is not exposed to bottle holder).
7. . Is the grab sampling device kept outside?
It is kept in Waste Treatment truck.

How is the grab sampling device cleaned?
With a hard bristle brush and warm water

Antibacterial soap
10. Please describe the effluent sampling point.
Effluent sample is taken by an ISCO Composit Sampler through a strainer and
hose leading from the sampler to the Parshall Flume.
