Mr. Bodnar:
Based on the lack of any written response from the Division of Water Resources, other
than phone call, after our submittal of more information to the original major CAMA
permit application and onsite meeting with DWR, Dr. Hale Stephenson is requesting to
withdraw his major CAMA permit application. Please copy Mr. Stephenson documenting
the closure of his permit review. Thank you for your efforts in circulating the. application
and prompt communication to our company during the review of this application.

Re: Request for CAMA Application Withdrawal- Hale Stephenson
Dear Mr. Stephenson:
This letter is in reference to the CAMA Major Permit application request that was submitted to the
Division of Coastal Management on your behalf and was accepted as complete on August 31, 2020.
The proposal included a bulkhead and associated Section 404 wetland fill, located at 123
Brookshire Dr., Bath, in Beaufort County.
On March 9, 2021, the Division of Coastal Management received a request from your agent, Mr.
Toby Tetterton, to withdraw the permit application referenced above. As such, this file will be
retired and considered closed in status.
