A stormwater sample was collected from Outfall 001 on July 9, 2020 and analyzed for Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Copper, Lead, Oil and Grease and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). With the exception of Copper and Zinc, all parameters were reported below or within their respective benchmark values, as shown on the attached DMR. Please note that the continued exceedance of benchmark values for Copper and Zinc are believed to be due to naturally occurring metals and not the result of facility practices, given the distance and vegetative buffers present between the facility operations and the designated Outfall 001. As such, the facility will remain in a Tier One Response unless otherwise instructed by your office. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me at 919-250-9918.
