Dear Mr Herndon
The Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)
previously obtained coverage under Nationwide Permit 14 for the subject project Due to delays
acquiring right of way we have been unable to commence the project and complete the work
prior to the expiration of the current authorization FHWA would like to re authorize the project
under the new Nationwide Permit 14 and Water Quality Certification 3886 No changes have
been made to the project The estimated start of construction would be mid October of 2012
and we anticipate completing the construction by April 30, 2013
Enclosed you will find a check in the amount of $240 for the application fee Please provide us
with you response within thirty (30) days of the receipt of this letter If you have any questions
