Duke Energy Progress, LLC,
526 South Church St., Char-
lotte, N.C., has applied for
modification of its NPDES
wastewater permit
(NC0024406) for Belews
Steam Station, 3195 Pine Hall
Road, Belews Creek, Stokes
County. The facility dis-
charges treated industrial
wastewater, domestic
wastewater, and stormwater to
Dan River and Belews Lake in
the Roanoke River basin.
Some of the parameters are
water quality limited. This dis-
charge may affect future alloc-
ations in this portion of the
Roanoke River basin. The loc-
ation of Outfall 001 is: Latitude:
36016'49.5"; Longitude:
80003'39.8". The location of
Outfall 006 is: Latitude:
36018'34.8"; Longitude:
80004'36.1 ". The draft
