On August 1s' I conducted an on -site visit of the proposed project site. At present the site is covered with about 50 -60%
vegetated growth consisting mainly of wax -myrtle and pond pine. The reduction in over -all wetland impacts were noted
and plans indicate that project has been moved closer to roadway (NC Hwy 12) and uplands thus reducing amount of
wetland impacts. Wetland line appears to be in location indicated on plans submitted to this Office for review. This
Office has no further comments on this project. If you should require any additional information on this project please
do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you.
One more thing! While on -site an old cemetery was noted slightly north of proposed project area. Is there any SHIPO
concerns regarding this site ? ??
This project may be getting close to the site of Black Beards treasure........ Arrrrr!!!
