Suzanne,
We were going by the address listed on your contact web page.
Like you said, they are most likely "in the DEQ house" and will hopefully find themselves to the right spots.
Thanks, Don

Suzanne,
Enclosed are some electronic versions/documentation but the hard copies were sent either certified mail (USPS) or
FedEx/UPS. I'm sure signing for the packages has probably slowed the hard copy delivery to your desks (not to mention
Covid protocols). We specifically wanted to make sure the check was in your package and delivered to you.

Good morning Don.
As of yesterday, I have not received the application package for the facility located at 5413 Sharron Harris Road, New Hill
NC.
I also reviewed all the NCS applications that have come in since January, and do not see one for Duke Energy Harris
Nuclear Plant.
What manner was the package sent and to which address?
Sincerely,
Suzanne McCoy

Suzanne,
I wanted to touch base and see if the application package was received and confirm the package with the processing fee
had made it to you for further processing.
Also — a couple minor questions:
1. Has an individual stormwater permit number been assigned yet? If so, what is the NCS number?
2. Has the permit package been assigned to a staff person? If so, who? Anna Gamble? Someone else?
Thanks for your assistance on this matter.

Annette et. al.,
Enclosed you will find an electronic copy of the NPDES package for the industrial stormwater aspects of the Duke Energy
Harris Nuclear Plant. As you will recall, these stormwater aspects were integrated into the HNP process NPDES permit
(NC0039586) and the agency decided to split the stormwater aspects out from the process NPDES permit for consistency
with other steam electric generation sites. Hard copies are being submitted to the cover letter cc list and the permit
processing check is in the McCoy package.
Due to sampling equipment acquisition/testing aspects, the storm event monitoring/analyses for Form 2F was not
accomplished prior to submittal. These issues have been recently resolved and we will be able to collect and analyze the
representative stormwater outfalls in the near future (weeks; depending on qualifying storm event). At that time, we
will update Form 2C and submit an addendum package which includes the storm event monitoring data.
If there are any questions in the interim, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Bob Wilson, HNP Environmental Field
Support, at 919.714.3937 (M) or me at 984.209.0940 (M).
