Technical Support requests that the mercury limit of 0.031 µg/1 be deleted from the
wasteload allocation for the Lenoir - Gunpowder Creek WWTP. No monitoring will be
required. This is based on more extensive pretreatment information regarding the
monitoring data for mercury and the nature of the incoming industry to Lenoir WWTP.
Julia Storm and Alwin Basden of the Pretreatment Unit were consulted on this information.
The revised wasteload allocation is attached.
