Subject: NPDES Industrial Stormwater Permit
Electronic Reporting Requirements
General Permit No. NCG170202
Burlington Industries LLC- Burlington Industries- BHP Plant
Alamance County
On April 1, 2021, all NPDES Industrial General permittees in Group B of our eDMR Registration
schedule will begin registering for the electronic Data Monitoring Report (eDMR) system. The six
step Stormwater eDMR registration process can be found by entering "deg.nc.gov/SW-eDMR" in
your browser. All instructions, links and forms you will need are available there.
You will need to complete the following steps by the following dates:
By April 1, 2021, you will need to complete:
- Step 1: Verify Database Information
- Step 2: Submit eReporting Registration Form
By June 1, 2021, if you wish to include Data Entry and View Only Users, you will need to complete:
- Step 3: Set Up Data Entry and View Only Users in eDMR (OPTIONAL)
- Step 4: Request Certify and Submit Privileges for Certain Users (OPTIONAL)
Before July 1, 2021, you will need to complete Step 5: Enter Monitoring Data in eDMR. Your
permit requires that monitoring data be submitted within 30 days of receiving the data from the
lab.
On an ongoing and as -needed basis, you will need to complete Step 6: Maintain Facility and User
Data.
