Thank you both for commenting back to Doug and I understand your concern about the potential impacts associated with this project
However, only supporting the No Action alternative offers no real guidance or possible solutions for the applicant In this case the applicant
has done everything that has been asked of hum by the regulatory agencies He has provided temporary access to the Pecan Grove residents
at the Lewis Road site until a more permanent solution can be built on the site defined in the EA Are you aware that NCWRC wishes to
purchase the Lewis Road site from the applicant in order to construct a public ramp? The applicant has asked the State if they could
dedicate some parking spaces to the residents of Pecan Grove and the answer was no So in light of this, what is the applicant supposed to
do'> Not sell the property to the State which means WRC will not build a new ramp that is desperately needed I'm certain that the local
support for the WRC ramp far outweighs any public concerns over what the applicant wants to construct on the Pecan Grove site Last I
heard, the State is close to backing out of the deal because the applicant cannot get regulatory support (even conditional support) for his
project I know this would be a very unpopular outcome for the residents who desire another WRC ramp I understand your concerns
about the small amount of dredging, but the big picture involves more than .just the Pecan Grove residents It involves all of the locals who
have been promised and have been waiting for a new WRC ramp for a long time I respectfully ask that you reconsider your position in light
of all the stakeholders that are connected to this project in some manner

comments which I have attached, and feel that there is still the potential to avoid all impacts from the proposed project by further exploring Alternative 4
of the No- Action Alternative in the EA

Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner I do have a question on this Were we copied on the response to these agencies? I cant find any
record in my files that we ever got copies In any case, as far as I can tell, I have not gotten replies from any of the commenting agencies It
would probably be best for you to contact them directly and have them submit any comments they may have to me (e -mail would be fine)

As of February 5, 2008 I have responded to the commenting agencies pursuant to your letter to me dated November 20, 2008 As of today, I
have not received any additional comments from you (or others) and the applicant needs to know where we stand in the process
Additionally, I am attaching a copy of the temporary easement that the applicant granted the Pecan Grove HOA last year The document
clearly states that the easement is temporary until a permanent solution is permitted and constructed (i a Pecan Grove Elevated Boat
Ramp)
Can you please update me on the status of this process? I am not aware of anything that we have failed to submit to any commenting
agency
