This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT is proposing to undertake stream bank stabilization in a
jurisdictional area in Martin County under Nationwide Permit 13 conditions. Location is on a UT to Bear Grass
Swamp, Stream Index 28-103-5-1 in the Tar-Pamlico river basin.
Project entails the removal of a wooden headwall and associated driveway pipe embedded in the stream
bank.The roadside ditch will be reshaped and armored with granite riprap.All work will occur within the road
right of way.
