Deanna Please forward the attached drawings and explanations to Amy for
clarification
Note the Hyd_profile drawings shows the normal water depth which was omitted in
the original drawings The Hyd_rpt_culvert drawing shows a section through the
proposed culvert and indicates the normal water surface culvert bury depth and
culvert grade
We did not elect to use benches or sills for this culvert to direct the low flow i
pattern for these reasons
The culvert dimension is very similar to the normal channel dimension
tf
The normal water depth is about 1 and placid rather than rapid
4
The proposed culvert will be buried about 2 and set on a flat grade
t
The proposed culvert is relatively short
f
t
Reference the hyd_psh4 drawing for post stormwater controls
Existing ditches along the roadway will be moved laterally away from the new
roadway typical section and will tie to the existing ditches prior to entering the
buffer The existing ditches dissipate before entering the buffer and provide i
diffuse flow through the buffer in the floodplain No alteration of the existing
conveyance in the buffer is proposed No new outlets are proposed and all roadway
runoff is by sheet flow
