NOTICE OF COMBINED PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED WIDENING OF ALL AMERICAN
FREEWAY (STATE ROAD 1007) FROM OWEN DRIVE (S R 1151) TO THE PROPOSED
FAYETTEVILLE OUTER LOOP

The North Carolina Department of Transportation ( NCDOT) will hold an informal Combined
Public Hearing between the hours of 4 p m and 7 p m on Monday June 25 2012 at the Westover
Recreation Center located at 267 Bonanza Drive in Fayetteville
NCDOT representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding
the proposed project The opportunity to submit written comments and questions will be provided
Interested citizens may attend at any time during the above hours There will not be a formal
presentation
NCDOT proposes to widen existing All American Freeway (State Road) by one additional lane
in each direction The 4 8 mile project begins at Owen Drive (S R 1151) and ends at the proposed
Fayetteville Outer Loop The improvements will bring the total number of lanes from four (4) to six (6)
The purpose of the project is to improve vehicle capacity and relieve congestion along the
project corridor Additional right of way acquisition and the relocation of homes and businesses will be
required to construct the project
A map displaying the location of the projects and a copy of the Environmental Assessment are
available for public review at the NCDOT Division 6 Office 558 Gillespie St in Fayetteville and the
Fayetteville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Office located on the second floor of the old
courthouse building at 130 Gillespie St The maps are also available online at www fampo org
Anyone desiring additional information may contact Jamille Robbins of the NCDOT Human

NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with Disabilities Act for
disabled persons who want to participate in this hearing Anyone requiring special services should
contact Robbins as early as possible so that arrangements can be made
