Subject: Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report
COC #NCG060365
Valley Proteins, Inc. — Lewiston Division
Bertie County, NC
Enclosed please find the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report for January, 2021.
Rainfall events that occurred during the month were not significant enough to generate
runoff at Outfall 1. Any runoff that occurred at Outfall 2 was during night time hours,
which would have made access to the storm water sampling locations a potential safety
hazard for plant staff. Lighting in the area is in the process of being improved, which will
help with sample collection during night time hours going forward.
If you should have questions, I can be reached at (252) 348-2381 ext. 35117 or by
email at Belliott(a.valleyproteins.com.
Sincerely,
