This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be undertaking road shoulder repair and bank stabilization in a
jurisdictional area on SR 1311, North lake Road, adjacent to Lake Mattamuskeet(Stream Index No.29-57-1-1
in the Tar Pam River Basin) near Fairfield in Hyde County.There is an existing 75' long riprap revetment that
is currently being flanked by erosion.An additional 22 linear feet on the west end and an additional 122 linear
feet on the east side of the existing revetment will be stabilized with granite riprap.The existing riprap
revetment will be refurbished within the existing footprint.
