After reviewing the application for the Carlson Dairy Road Maintenance, I have determined that the application is not complete
Impacting 0.099 acre of -wetland is close enough to 0.1 acre that -' e -would need to require mitigation. Per guidance that I have
been given, 0.099 acre is not ecologically different than 1 /10 of an acre. Therefore, unless the impacts are reduced,
compensatory mitigation be required for this project as allo,, ed by General Condition 23.c and Regional Condition 4.19.
Also, please note that if it , ere permitted , ithout mitigation, the applicant , ould only have about 43 square It to make a
mistake before , e , ould issue a violation and require mitigation.
