Hi We started seeing some increased results on our ammonias throughout our wastewater system. We have made adjustments and have lowered influent flows to give the system more time so that we can stay within our limits. This morning the effluent ammonia was still under our limit but higher than we would like. We felt it was best to stop discharging as our ammonia results were higher in the fuzzy and contact chamber. We thought it was a good idea to drain and clean them thoroughly to make sure we didn’t have anything interfering with the test. We plan to set up to do breakpoint chlorination (starting late this afternoon) so that we could ensure we stay in compliance while increasing the flow. I will update you again once the system recovers and we are able to move away from breakpoint chlorination.
