The Division of Water Quality has received the Year 3 Monitoring Report for the above
referenced site dated June 27 2012
Site planting was completed in spring of 2010 Therefore November 1 2010 represents the end
of the first growing season, November 1 2011 represents the end of the second growing season
and the end of the third growing season would be November 1 2012
In accordance with long standing federal and state mitigation monitoring protocols vegetation
monitoring should be performed near the end of each growing season for all types of
compensatory mitigation protects including nutrient offsrte protects
While site performance appears good the Year 3 monitoring report represents performance of
only four months (approximately 50 %) of the growing season
Please conduct site monitoring near the end of the growing season and submit a report
documenting vegetation performance for the full 2012 growing season
