They say they will use the same culvert size as already installed. What does that mean? Culverts are already
there? If they are simply replacing culverts I don't have as much concern. If not, I don't see the need to have
a culvert from Venture Drive - am wondering if they could provide access to construction vehicles with one
culvert, reconfigure their construction traffic pattern. If not, I would say that the culvert needed from Venture
Drive could be a temporary culvert, with it taken out and the bed and banks restored when they are done.

Hello Sue,
We are going to build one house on this parcel of land. The back side of the land that connects to Venture Dr. is very
steep and not conducive for a driveway. We plan on building a house in the middle of the property. We need a
horseshoe drive in order to provide access for equipment to build house.
We will use the same size culverts already installed; according to each creek. We contacted the DOT and they are going
to assist in culvert installation to meet condition II 9 and II 11.

You indicate that this project is a residential subdivision, please clarify whether more than one home will
be constructed on this parcel.
Please provide drawings showing the location of all proposed residences, property lines, driveways and
any other structures.
It appears that this parcel may be accessed from Venture Dr. Please explain why you require the
proposed driveways.
State regulations require that you avoid and minimize to the maximum extent practical, including
alternative layouts, shared driveways, etc.
What size culverts are you proposing to install? Please note that state regulations require that install
the culverts in such a manner as to allow aquatic life passage which may include pipe burial depending
on the size of the culverts. Please see Condition # II 11 in the attached General Certification.
Please also provide details of how you intend to meet Condition II 9 which requires that you install
culverts "in the dry'.
The Division will place this application "on hold" until receipt of the above listed information. Please
note that additional information may be required once I've had the opportunity to review the
information requested herein.
