May 22 20121 met with representatives with DWQ (Roberto Scheller) and USACOE
(William Wescott) to discuss this project and the related permitting requirements
Based on this meeting I am offering the following

Goldsboro Boating Access Area
ADA Access
North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission owns a 5 12 acre tract of land located
at 12091 US HWY 117S in Goldsboro NC (Wayne County) The property currently
supports a single 14 wide boat ramp and a gravel parking area The purpose of this
project is to provide a handicap accessible parking spot along with ADA compliant
access to a concrete dock abutment and floating dock The existing ramp is in
good shape and will require no maintenance at this time
The sequence of construction shall be as follows
1 Mobilize to the site
2 Install prescribed sedimentation & erosion control devices
3 Grade area for installation of access sidewalk
6After grading the abutment the ADA sidewalk and ADA parking spot will be
formed and poured to the grade elevations
7 After the proper cure time of the abutment the floating dock sections will be
brought onto the site and anchored into place (The dock sections are produced
elsewhere in the state)
8 After the above activity all disturbed area will be seeded and mulched
All work on this project will occur as near to the existing footprint as possible

A trackhoe will be used to excavate sidewalk footprint After excavation of footprint timber forms will be erected to form the
sidewalk to proper grade After concrete sidewalks cure forms will be removed All debris from this activity will be
removed from the site and deposed of in a licensed landfill Final fine grading will occur and all slopes will be treated to
prevent erosion All area distrubed by the above activity well be seeded and mulched All equipment well be stored on high
ground well away from the AEC
