A review of the December 2017 Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the subject facility revealed the
violation(s) indicated below:

Please discontinue the use of the Drop-down Box for the “No Reporting Reason” for “Continuous Flow” or other
parameters. Per your NPDES Permit, Continuous Flow must be reported 365 days per year.
“Holiday” should be reported with an “H” in the parameter columns. Please read the eDMR Helpful Hints and
the eDMR FAQ Guide found at https://deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/water-resources/edmr/user-documentation.

Be advised that “Composite Sample Time” and “Total Composite Time” must be entered on the EDMR for
those parameters which require Composite Sampling on the NPDES Permit. Those parameters consist of: BOD,
Ammonia Nitrogen and TSS on your permit, and when applicable, Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus. Please
begin recording your “Composite Sampling Times and Total Composite Times” immediately on the EDMR.
