NCDOT proposes to replace the existing functionally deficient culvert
on SR 1616 (Tuckaseegee Road) at Mill Creek with an improved
modern culvert; STV Engineers is providing planning, design and
Section 404/401 services on behalf of Division 10; an MCDC has
been prepared; a delineation of waters of the U.S. has been
completed - jurisdictional waters of the U.S. in the project area
include Mill Creek and an unnamed tributary of Mill Creek; there are
no wetlands in the project area; proposed culvert replacement will
include an offsite detour; the project has a Let date of March 3, 2021.
