The quarry will be removing stone and crushing it to numerous sizes for commercial sale. Certain store is required to be washed before sale and thus creates the need for a water supply and treatment facilities i.e. supply pond and settling cells." A company representative stated that the system worked sufficiently while it was in operation before the mine was closed. There did not appear to be any site specific problems with the proposed treatment or the location. It is recommended that the permit be issued.
