Hey Andrea,
I have finalized my review of the Year 1 Monitoring Report for the Loflin Dairy Phase II Mitigation
Bank. I have the following comments regarding the data provided in the report:
1. Two landowner encroachments were noted. However, it was not indicated to what extent
the planted stems were impacted. Please explain.
2. Bare areas were noted, but not shown on the Figure 4. Please show those areas on Figure 4,
Additionally, please define "bare" in terms of vegetation.
3. Plots 2 & 3 — plot data suggests that environmental factors (insects, vines, Johnson grass,
etc) have greatly reduced the size of most of the planted stems in the plot compared to
AsBuilt heights. Please keep an eye on these planted stems in and around the plots and plan
to develop a remediation plan if conditions do not improve at Year 2.
