Hi Jeff. I am still the Corps PM for this project. I’m also amenable to a web meeting to discuss permitting. Typically I
would receive preliminary plans a few weeks ahead of pre-application meetings to give me time to review and give
thought to any foreseeable challenges to discuss. Also, I’m assuming that this is a Division-lead project rather than a
central letting project? Further, any pre-app. Meeting should include Dave Wanucha with NCDWR.
Currently my availability includes March 1 (morning), 2, 4 (after 10am), 5 (after 10am), 11 (after 10am), and 12 (after
10am). Webex or Teams tend to work best with our computers, though I believe GoToMeeting has worked for me as
well.

David,
Terracon is assisting Ramey Kemp & Associates with the 404 permitting for this project you reviewed with us back in
2019. I’m not sure if you are still the person who would be reviewing pending 404 apps or if it is maybe Andy. Either
2
way, we really would like to schedule a virtual pre-app meeting to discuss the permitting strategy best for the
project. Stream impacts slightly exceed 300 LF; however a significant portion of this would be to intermittent
tributaries, may of which have decreased aquatic function. It is our hope that some of the intermittent footage can be
waived by the Corps with regards to triggering the need for an IP. Can we try to schedule a virtual meeting or can you
pass this along to whoever may be responsible for this permit currently?
Thanks in advance.
