On the date of this violation, there was a storm and a power outage. The generator at the main influent pump station never kicked on; therefore, the pumps did not come on. The maintenance crew set up bypass pumping until the power was restored. They pulled the pumps and cleared them of any debris. We called in Atlantic South Power to diagnose the issue with the generator. The gentlemen could not find the issue. He told the wastewater plant back-up ORC to continue to check the generator for additional problems. The Town has issued a purchase order to have Atlantic South Power schedule a load bank test on the generator. Please contact me if you have additional questions concerning this response.
