Ian and Renee,
I have a modification request from the Western Wake Partners to modify their permit (SAW
2005 20159)
The original permit was issued on July 28, 2010 Here is a link to the Record of Decision
and the signed permit
http / /www saw usace army mil /Wetlands /Projects /WW WTP /ROD /index html
They have two modifications to the original permit in this request One was at the request of
a landowner to modify a portion of the West Cary Force Main alignment and the other is the
construction of the water and sewer lines to the minority community near New Hill (this was
required by the permit conditions but we did not know at the time of permit issuance which
landowners would want water and sewer and where the lines would go)
Here is a link to the modification request

As we lust discussed we will allow you to consider the gravel parking lot as a temporary construction impact that may
be treated with a temporary sediment pond as a part of the sediment erosion control plan for this project When the
construction phase is complete you would be required to remove the gravel and restore permeability to the soil by
disking or ripping the soil surface Then you would need to specify a permanent vegetated ground cover with
appropriate watering and fertilization requirements
Please let me know if you have any questions
Thank you

See the attached ketch fo the proposed parking area for Co ^ +racts 2 and 4 on the `"JDF Site
The overall is shown on C0001 and CO22 and CO23 provide more detail
What s shown outlined in red is —3 5 acres We will probably only need to clear 2 5 3 0 acres
We would not impact any streams stream buffers wetlands or the perimeter buffer We would need to get a revised
Construction Plan approvea oy the Town of Apex ana get a permit Trom Land Quality for this disturbance The area we
are proposing to use is the site of the future Biological Basins and Clarifiers
