NOTICE OF A CITIZENS INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP
FOR A PROPOSED INTERECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT U S 70 AND
SLOCUM ROAD IN HAVELOCK
TIP Project No R 5516 WBS No 45492 1 1 Craven County
The North Carolina Department of Transportation ( NCDOT) will hold
a public meeting called a citizens informational workshop on June 26 2012 at
the Havelock Tourist and Event Center located at 201 Tourist Center Drive
Havelock from 4 7 pm
The North Carolina Department of Transportation ( NCDOT) proposes
improvements to US 70 and Slocum Road in Havelock NC The project will
improve future traffic congestion The project will also enhance access to Marine
Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point
This will be an open house meeting and citizens can attend any time
during the above hours NCDOT representatives will answer questions and
receive comments concerning the project There will not be a formal
presentation
