Recent high flow events from significant precipitation have resulted in
streambed erosion in the unnamed perennial stream within Colonial
Pipeline Company's (CPC's) right-of-way exposing CPC's Line 24S.
The lack of surface pipeline protection at the maintenance location
has resulted in exposure of Line 24S. CPC proposed to replace the
required protective cover with pre -cast revetment mats to remediate
the streambed erosion and associated pipeline exposure.
