The City of Greensboro would like to notify your office of the proposed stream bank repair at Hunter
Hill Park — Gentry Street by Memtt Drive Greensboro NC The projects objective is to stabilize the
eroded channel by installing a J Hook at the stream bank and install two cross vanes at the adjacent
tributary to stabilize the eroded areas Presently this existing channel is eroding toward a public park
could endanger usage and create safety hazard & environmental concerns
The length of work area at the eroded South Buffalo Creek is about 140 feet and about 100 feet at
the unnamed tributary 216 tons of boulders will be used to install the J Hook and two cross vanes
per the attached plan
Attached is the general information (vicinity map plan view topography layout drawings and
inventory map) regarding the subject site for your review
