REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Hardaway:
On Apri130, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated April 27, 2007,
to fill or otherwise impact 1.192 acres of 404/wetland (0.605 acres permanent 404/wetland impact and
0.587 acres temporary 404/wetland impact) and to construct the proposed residential subdivision, multi-
family and commercial development. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete
and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional
information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the
subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below,
we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will
place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the
following information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Please show all wetlands and wetland impacts including fill slopes and wetland preservation areas
especially those on the Passive Recreation Area A, C and D that are to be preserved, .on the site
plan.
2. Is Lot No. 95 buildable without wetland fill? Please provide a building envelope for this lot.
3. Will the "Walking Trail" near lots 91-97 require wetland fill?
Please contact the DWQ within three weeks of the date of this letter to verify that you have received this
letter and to provide us with a date that we may expect to receive this requested information. If we do not
receive this requested information within one week of the date you indicate it will be forthcoming, your
project will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply with a new application and a new fee. Please
contact me in writing and Joanne Steenhuis of the DWQ Wilmington Regional Office. If we do not hear
from you within three weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will
consider the project as withdrawn.
