During the shoreline stabilization at the Browning property, the grading company will
have to remove or may damage several of the existing trees to conduct the project
Following the shoreline stabilization process we will reforest the area disturbed within
45 days of project completion We will re- vegetate the area with trees noted on
plan, which are native to the area and suggested on the Progress Energy website
The trees that will be installed are Balled and Burlapped with the caliper of the tree
meeting the requirements that are suggested on the Progress Energy website We
will install soil around root ball to provide a bowl area around root ball to help in
water retention around plant The trees will be anchored with rope and stakes for one
season or until root system becomes established enough to support the tree There
will also be watering bags installed around trees to provide water for the plant and
its establishment Shredded hardwood mulch will be installed around root ball of
tree at 3 in depth to prevent any erosion from around root ball
The trees location will be as represented on plan, and maybe subject to change
depending upon what existing trees still remain
